Heather & Manny Are Engaged!

On Monday morning, I got to hang out downtown with Heather & Manny for their engagement session. I had such a hard time choosing the photos for this post because there are SO MANY good ones. These guys laughed during the entire session - which makes for AWESOME photos! Heather and Manny, thanks for being such awesome subjects! I can't wait for your wedding in November! :) Here are my favorites. Enjoy :)

How weird is it that we found a sign with their exact names and wedding date? I mean... what are the odds? haha Actually, there was a big blank sign on this building just begging for some text... so I took it upon myself to break out my not-so-awesome Photoshop skills... and ta da!  :)

Manny wasn't too sure about this tire/barber shop (no lie)... but I thought it was quite charming (in a reeeeally urban, crazy grafitti, oober dirty sort of way).  :)

Cute shoes make such cute photos!!!

It's Riley!!

In an attempt to better document my life and those closest to me, I try to pull out my camera whenever my nephew, Riley, is around. I cannot believe how much he changes from week to week. Here are a few of my favorites of him from Mother's Day weekend.

I don't let just anyone touch my camera, but this was just too cute!

Happy baby :)

The main thing that is changing so quickly is his expressions. I love this one! So funny!!

Mary Ann & Matt are married!

This past Saturday, we shot Matt & Mary Ann's wedding! You may remember these guys from their engagement session a while back (and who could forget their amazing iPhone photos!?)

We've been soooo excited to post these photos, we couldn't get them up fast enough! Matt & Mary Ann saw each other before the ceremony, which meant TONS of time for bridal party and bride/groom portraits! These guys really were a photographer's dream. :) Thanks guys for making our job so easy!  Here are our favorite shots! To see more, check out the slideshow.

BTW - Brandon Hammonds was their videographer and he's amazing to work with! If you are looking for a video guy, definitely check out his website. :)

Yup, SEVEN bridesmaids and groomsmen!

STREET SHOT #2
Jenn and I disagree on our favorite "street shot," so we're letting you decide. :)  What do you think?

A little snack right before the ceremony. :) They got in trouble for eating in the church too. Crazy rebels :)

Canine Love :)

I don't have any human children (and don't plan to for quite a while!), so our puppies are our children. They can make me smile like no one else. No matter how bad the day or how tired I am, the dogs make me smile. It is a truly amazing thing to be loved unconditionally even if it is love from a canine :) Here are a few recent photos of the children.

Chris' lab, Charlotte. I just love how happy she looks. Yep, makes me smile.

This is what my dog, Romeo, does when you say "Grandma." I love the little head tilt!

Introducing my brother's German Shepherd, Gabby. This photo was taken right before she completely ran me over while chasing a frisbee! Ouch!!

Matt and Erin are Engaged!

When I asked Matt and Erin if there was something that they really loved to do together, they immediately said that they really enjoy hanging out at different vineyards. I had been wanting to shoot a session at The Vineyards for quite awhile, so I was super excited about this session.
Matt and Erin are crazy sweet and so obviously in love...so much fun to shoot. Erin's laugh is ridiculously cute, I can see why he loves her. Here are my favorites from the session. Cheers!!

I think this just might be my favorite "Mom Picture" to date :)

This one is my favorite! I LOVE her eyes!!! Gorgeous Erin!

Erin is laughing because Matt just asked her if the e-session counts as a "date night"

After The Vineyard, we went off in search of a field to take a few more pictures. Let me just say that I'm a much better photographer than tour guide. Sorry Matt and Erin for taking you the long way around, but I think it was worth it :) My husband, Chris, bought this couch for me at garage sale months ago and I've been waiting for the right time to bring it out. Thanks Matt and Erin for trusting me and my crazy ideas. I just love these!
