Beach Bums

Last weekend, Chris' parents invited us to go to Rockport with them. We're always looking for something different to do, so Saturday morning we drove down to the beach. It was a nice break. I love the small-town, slow-moving atmosphere. Maybe some day, I'll retire at the beach :) We ate barbecue from a shack, went fishing, flew a kite, took a nap, swam in the pool, and ate some more. Of course, the camera came along for the ride.

I've been wanting to get a good "portrait" of his parents for awhile. This one makes me smile.

When you are the photographer, you have to get creative with the self portraits. Here are two versions of Chris and me.
